The Office of Business and Administration creates an environment that fosters excellence in people, facilities, infrastructure, and financial stewardship. Its 1,400 dedicated and talented staff enable Emory to achieve its mission to create, preserve, teach and apply knowledge in the service of humanity.

Christopher L. Augostini serves as Emory’s executive vice president and enterprise chief operating officer. Additionally, he serves as vice chair of the Emory Healthcare Board of Directors. He is responsible for ensuring the Emory enterprise, in which Emory University and Emory Healthcare are strategically and financially integrated, is poised to create an environment that fosters excellence in people, facilities, infrastructure, and operating and financial performance. Augostini leads a team of innovative, collaborative, and cross-functional individuals who work on behalf of the entire Emory enterprise.
