Diana Carter

Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer

Diana Carter serves as vice president and chief administrative officer and is charged with the strategic alignment of functions impacting risk and operations. As CAO, Carter leads the integration of Internal Audit, the Office of Ethics and Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management, as well as overseas Data Analytics and Public Safety for the Business and Administration division.

Carter joined Emory in 2013 and is a certified public accountant with a master’s degree in accounting. She has previously served in Emory’s Finance Division and the Candler school of theology as chief business officer, and as chief of staff for the Executive Vice President for Business and Administration.
