The vice president of finance and treasury provides executive leadership to the Emory University Finance Division, which includes the Controller's Office, Treasury and Debt, Integrated Financial Planning and Budgeting, Data Analytics, and Financial Systems. Through these finance functions, Pim Thukral oversees and is responsible for the financial policies, processes, and services of the university and partners with key stakeholders to assure sound financial decision making, positioning, and effectiveness for university financials.

As deputy chief financial officer, Thukral works directly with Christopher Augostini, CFO, and in partnership with colleagues across the Emory enterprise, to provide financial leadership and coordination for the University.

Thukral has served as Vice President for Budget and Financial Planning Analysis at NYU and as the Chief Operations Officer for Northwestern University's Qatar Campus. Her extensive experience also includes various roles at Georgetown University, and its Medical Center, including Medical Center CFO, University Budget Director, and Vice President of Financial Accounting and Systems.

She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting and a BS in Computer Science from Tulane University. She is also a certified public accountant.
