Robin Morey

Senior Vice President, Enterprise Capital Planning, Real Estate, and Facilities

Robin Morey serves as the senior vice president for enterprise capital planning, real estate, and facilities for Emory University and Emory Healthcare. In this role, he leads the strategic planning, development, and stewardship of the institution's capital investments, real estate portfolio, and facilities operations. By integrating these critical functions, he advances enterprise-wide alignment, strengthens resource stewardship, and supports Emory’s long-term strategic objectives. 

Reporting to the president, Morey partners with university and health care leaders to translate institutional priorities into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes. He provides executive leadership for enterprise capital planning and oversees data-driven processes that identify long-range infrastructure and facility needs while aligning investment decisions with Emory’s academic, research, clinical, administrative, and organizational goals. 

Prior to joining Emory, Morey served as vice president for planning and facilities management at Georgetown University, where he led campus master planning, facilities operations, utilities, transportation services, sustainability initiatives, real estate services, and capital renewal programs supporting the university’s mission and growth. He also served at the Architect of the Capitol as superintendent of the senate office buildings, overseeing planning, construction, renovations, sustainability initiatives, and operational management for one of the nation’s most significant and historic governmental facilities portfolios.

A retired lieutenant colonel, he served for 22 years in the District of Columbia Air National Guard and completed numerous active-duty assignments, including service in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. 

Morey holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is an alumnus of the Wharton School. He is also a graduate of Squadron Officer School and Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base. His professional credentials include certified facility manager and LEED accredited professional.
