Diana Carter
Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer

Diana Carter serves as vice president and chief administrative officer and is charged with the strategic alignment of functions impacting risk and operations. As CAO, Carter leads the work and integration of Internal Audit, University Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management, as well as oversees public safety functions at Emory.
Carter joined Emory in 2013 and is a certified public accountant with a master's degree in accounting. She has previously served in Emory's finance division, as well as chief audit officer, chief business officer for Candler School of Theology, and chief of staff for the Office of the EVPBA. Before joining Emory, Carter held roles at Georgia Institution of Technology and Deloitte.
